Leader of GNMD is graduated in Physics (1973) at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, is PhD - Physics from the University of Delaware, USA,  (1980). He did postdoctoral studies at the Institute of Energy Conversion (at Delaware) and have extensive experience working with solar cells, semiconductors devices, semiconductor and dielectrics thin films and, more recently with nanostructured materials. Currently is full professor at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo, where he founded and led the Group of New Materials and Devices. She is also, general coordinator of Microelectronics Laboratory (LME) of Department of Electronic Systems Engineering at the Polytechnic School of Iniverity of São Paulo.
   At this moment develop works related to the obtention and characterization of the following materials :

  • AlN (Aluminum Nitride) for application as piezoelectric material
  • BST (Barium Strontium Titanate) for applications as ferroelectric materials
  • TiO2 Nanotubes : Obtention, characterization and applications
  • Carbon Nanotubes : Obtention, characterization and applications
